What exactly does Mapsucker collect?
Public business listing data (name, category, address, phone, website, rating, reviews, hours, coordinates), contact emails from business websites, and public reviews.
Is my data stored in the cloud?
No. Everything is saved in a local database on your computer. We never receive your results.
Do I need API keys?
Only for the optional AI enrichment and email-verification features. Core scraping and exports work without any keys.
Is this a subscription?
No — it's a one-time purchase. See the pricing page.
How many computers can I use it on?
One at a time. You can deactivate on one machine and activate on another from Settings → License.
Which platforms are supported?
Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Can I automate it?
Yes — there's a local API and an MCP bridge so scripts and AI assistants can run scans and read results.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes — within 30 days, via Freemius.
Is scraping legal?
Mapsucker collects publicly available information. You are responsible for using it in line with each source's terms and with applicable laws, including how you contact people. Use it responsibly.
What if a source blocks me?
Lower the request rate, add a proxy, or use the stealth options in Settings. Coverage varies by source and region.
